If you are a Windows 7 or 8 users then you already know when you hover with the mouse on any running or opening application thumbnail on Desktop's Taskbar, the Widows will show you a small preview. You can see this preview in a little rectangle window. But what if you want to change the size of this preview? There is a solution for this problem with creating a new key in the Windows registry. After this tutorial you will able to modify the size of Taskbar Thumbnail preview in pixel and make it bigger for better view. Follow these steps:

Step 1
Open the Windows Run by pressing Win + R key. Type regedit to go to the Windows Registry Editorand expand the path below:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Taskband

Step 2
Right-click on an empty space on right panel and from the menu, select New>DWORD (32-bit) Value.

 Step 3
Rename the new created key to the MinThumbSizePx.

 Step 4
Double-click on the MinThumbSizePx and in Edit DWORD (32-bit) Value, choose the Decimal option and in the Value data box, enter the amount you want for example 500 and click OK.

Note that the value you are entering here will be considered as pixels.

Step 5
Exit from the Windows Registry Editor and restart your system to see the changes. Now you have much bigger preview. To go back to the Windows default simply delete MinThumbSizePx key.
