India beat Pakistan in super 8 match of T20 world cup 2012

Though India continued their terrific form against Pakistan in World Cup (both ODI and T20) and crushed their archrivals by 8 wickets yesterday in Super 8, still a lot has to go RIGHT before we make it to semifinals of T20 World Cup.
It was a do-or die match for India, as they lost their first Super 8 match to Australia and if we had lost this, game was over.
Dhoni's boys held their nerve, Virat Kohli continued his dream run and bowlers did everything right as the Premadasa stadium erupted as soon as Yuvraj Singh hit the winning runs off Saeed Ajmal.
But we are not there yet. Currently India is in 3rd position behind Australia and Pakistan according to run rate.
India needed to win yesterday match in 19 balls to be at 2nd position but India won with 18 balls to spare.
Now to make it to the last 4, India has to beat S Africa and hope that Australia beats Pakistan.
However if India loses to S Africa, and Australia beats Pakistan, there will be a three-way tie for the second slot, which will be decided by net run rate.
If India beats S Africa and Pakistan beats Australia, net run rate will again come into play.
The road is still tough ahead but as they say fortune favors the brave and Indian fans and players will be hoping the same.
In yesterday Super 8 match of T20 World Cup India defeated Pakistan by 8 wickets and 18 balls left.
Virat scored an unbeaten 78 off 61 balls. L Balaji took 3 wickets, R Ashwin took 2 wickets.
Yuvraj too showed why Dhoni has faith in him. He took 2 wickets in 3 overs giving away just 16 runs. He also ran out Yasir Arafat and then made 19 runs and scored the winning runs as well.
Virender Sehwag was also brought back who made 29-runs off 24 balls hitting four fours at crucial time when Gambhir was dismissed at duck.
He along with Kohli added 74 in 61 balls for the second wicket. But then Yuvraj shared a 54-run stand with Kohli that took India home.
