1. Minecraft

It was developed by the Polish studio CD Projekt RED for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and OS X. With a sell of more than 1.7 million units, the game has been a great commercial success.

4. LittleBigPlanet 2

Centred on user generated content, LittleBigPlanet 2 is a puzzle-platformer video game developed by Media Molecule and published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. It is a follow-up to the 2008 LittleBigPlanet and was released in North America on 18 January 2011. Till date around 400,000 copies has been sold.

5. Terraria

Released by the game studio Re-Logic, Terraria is an action adventure indie game which characterises exploration, crafting, building, and combat with a range of creatures in a randomly generated 2D world. Around 50,000 copies were sold on its release date of 16 May, 2012 and almost 200,000 copies the following week making it one among the best PC games.

7. To the Moon

To the Moon is the fourth video game by Kan “Reives” Gao and the first commercial production by his indie game development team Freebird Games. In the game the player needs to travel through the memories of a dying man in the hopes of fulfilling the last wish-a journey to the moon.
