Algorithm changed: Google will not show pornographic photos unless you want

London: In an effort to help clean internet, Google has recently changed the algorithm your search keyword analysis, in order to limit pornography will appear in the search results.
From 2013 onwards, the Google search algorithm will significantly change for image search.
Accordingly, only when users type in keywords that contain the words and phrases related to pornography “xxx; porn; naked” … then returns the new results show this content. This is considered a tougher job of Google, to limit the content to disturb the user’s search results if they do not want.
“We’re not censoring any adult content, and want to show users exactly what they are looking for — but we aim not to show sexually-explicit results unless a user is specifically searching for them,” a Google representative told the Daily News.
The change went into effect early Wednesday.
Google stresses that porn is still there; it’s just less likely to appear when someone is searching for an unrelated image.
“If you’re looking for adult content, you can find it without having to change the default setting — you just may need to be more explicit in your query if your search terms are potentially ambiguous,” the rep said. “The image search settings now work the same way as in Web search.”

Google and the Future of Search

There’s a very interesting post on the official Google Blog today talking about the future of search and how Google is approaching it. It starts with Larry Page’s definition of the perfect search engine: “one that understands exactly what you mean and gives you exactly what you want.” It pretty much sums it up huh?
Here’s a quote from the article:
1. Understanding the world
In May we launched the Knowledge Graph, our database of more than 500 million real-world people, places and things with 3.5 billion attributes and connections among them. The feedback has been phenomenally positive and we want to extend this feature to people outside the U.S. So starting today, you’ll see Knowledge Graph results across every English-speaking country in the world. If you’re in Australia and search for [chiefs], you’ll get the rugby team—its players, results and history.
We’ll also use this intelligence to help you find the right result more quickly when your search may have different meanings. For example, if you search for [rio], you might be interested in the Brazilian city, the recent animated movie or the casino in Vegas. Thanks to the Knowledge Graph, we can now give you these different suggestions of real-world entities in the search box as you type.

How to Use HTML5 over Flash using Google Swiffy

Have you been using flash animations on your website/blog? It might be advertisements, site headers, widgets or whatever. But why people would more prefer on flash animations over text, images and other media types? Basically it adds more color and interactivity to your site while fulfilling intended purpose. The constraint is it needs flash plugin on internet browsers to render those flash based content. But how would you render them on a device which has no flash capabilities?

Google has introduced a new tool for webmasters and flash authors to display flash content using more browser-friendly HTML5 format. So further your content can be rendered on devices which has no flash capabilities such as iPhones, iPads etc. and modern internet browsers are not essential to have flash player plugin to render those animations. So this will add more traffic to your site through other devices too. The size of HTML5 output will be not more than 10% increase in most cases compared to a flash file.

You can see HTML5 in action with Google Swiffy at Google Swiffy Gallery. Swiffy currently supports SWF 8 and ActionScript 2.0 with many common SWF features.

Easy and Powerful Techniques for Online Business

Bryan Winters a professional internet marketer and expert in online business start ups says that the most vital way to build ones online business is by first and foremost making sure they have built a online base of customers that he refers to as “Responsive Lists”
Let me put it this way. If you own a shop and have about 10 customers that always come in and you always ask them how they are, find out how you can help, give an honest opinion about the merchandise and products that you are selling, send them email or text messages when new stock or special offers arise, and so on and so forth.
Will not those 10 customers be inclined to keep buying from you? They become basically your friends and begin to open up to you more and even give you feedback on your services and products without you even asking because it reaches a point and time where they feel that the shop is almost like theirs.
This is what Bryan Winters means when he says “Responsive List/customer base”, people that respond to you in a positive way. Learning his Powerful and Easy to implement techniques have helped create a substantial amount of wealth for many.
