Add Facebook Comment Social Plugin to Blogger

Blogger offers you default Blogger comment form for your blog to get feedback from your readers. Readers can comment on your content and ask question through your comment form. In addition to default comment form, you can add third party comment forms to your blog
too. But beyond the commenting, you may like to add stylish comment plugin to your blog. And what if your comment form can give more exposure to your content addition to commenting? So you would like to try it out on your blog and you may find it useful if you are think out of the box.

Facebook is a popular social media platform on the web. Beyond the social media capability, Facebook offers series of social plugins to webmasters. Facebook comment box is another useful and search engine friendly plugin offered by Facebook. It is stylish and enables user to post the comment on user's wall with the link to your content. So it will add more exposure to your content too. And as the most users are Facebook members, they don't need to sign up to comment and they will find it more comfortable too. But you may find it difficult when you implement the Facebook comment plugin in your blog. If so you can learn how to implement comment plugin for each post. But you need to keep in mind that if you are wish to migrate your blog to another domain or URL, existing comments made via Facebook comment plugin will no longer displayed after migration. Steps:

1. Go to Blogger Dashboard.

2. Click on your Blog Title.

3. Navigate to Template from left pane.

Note: Before editing your template, you may want to save a copy of it. Read How to Back Up Your Template.

4. Now click Edit HTML button.

5. Click Proceed button to view Template Editor.

6. Tick on, Expand Widget Templates option.

7. Now search for <data:post.body/> in your template and add below comment plugin code after that. You can either use XFBML code or HTML5 code to implement XFBML version of comment plugin.
