EARN MONEY ON BLOGGING

Even with the economy doing badly and the internet bubble bursting years ago, it’s still possible to make a good amount of money on the internet. There is any number of legitimate ways to earn a living by working from home on the internet. Blogging has become an especially lucrative method of working on the internet. While the chances are you won’t become the next Mark Zuckerberg or Perez Hilton, you can absolutely earn a decent living by being an online writer.

There are many free blog hosting sites where you can set up a blog for free. WordPress.com is an excellent one that is easy to use and has many features and tutorials available to users. Once you’ve set up your blog, the next task is to get someone to read it. Becoming savvy at social media is key to your success at this point. You’ll need to join Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Yahoo Groups that pertain to your area of interest and promote your blog through those services. You’ll also want to get your articles picked-up by other sites.
While starting and promoting your own blog is important, you may not even need to start your own blog. It’s possible to make money by blogging as a freelance writer. There are blogs that will purchase articles submitted by freelance writers. You can submit article pitches to Huffington Post and New York Times’ website as well as any number of other sites. Professional bloggers get about $250 per blog post. Newbie freelancers can expect to get approximately $100 per blog post. It’s an excellent way to pick up some extra money on the side. It is possible to earn a living by blogging full-time, but it’s important to remember that it takes hard-work. While the topics may be more fun, it’s still a real job and it must be taken seriously just like any other job. While working from home and writing catty, gossipy entertainment articles probably sounds like good, easy fun, making enough money to earn a living by being a full-time blogger actually requires a lot of time, effort and good old fashioned hard work.
It doesn’t matter what your areas of interest may be, there is a large group of blogs dedicated to it. There are numerous blogs on every imaginable topic, no matter how niche it may be. Many blogs pay freelancers for submitted and published articles. It’s important to keep your finger on the pulse of what’s hot and what’s not. Articles that seem outdated won’t be purchased by blogs. The whole point of blogs is to get the latest, most up-to-date and accurate information on whatever topic readers are looking for. It’s incredibly important for bloggers to keep up with the times and stay ahead of the curve. If you’re submitting articles about topics that no one’s interested in anymore, you’ll have a tough time earning a living by blogging. That’s why it’s so important to join those social media groups discussed earlier and to build connections in the world of writing and blogging. This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to blogging. There are too many topics to be covered here, but more than anything, it’s important to remember that just like anything else in life, succeeding in blogging requires a good work ethic.
